Totally unique & colorful way to add art to your life!
Not all my efforts to create paintings using alcohol ink are successful. In fact, most of my attempts were initially headed to the bin, when I realized that there were areas that were really quite nice. How could I save them? Cut them up and create smaller works of art of course! And I thought that it would be so nice to turn these random pops of color into jewelry. Add that idea to the fact that I really dislike wearing earrings that are heavy and drag my ears down. So here we are with lovely light earrings, with hypoallergenic wires, that in many cases are double sided (so if they flip around in the breeze, there is color on both sides). Then I found pretty little earring frames that include a glass cabochon which adds to the pop of color. And other earrings include a lovely little dragonfly charm. Inventory changes rapidly and they are only available to purchase direct from me either at a show or my studio.
Continuing on with the theme of repurposing, I also create earrings from note cards & business cards, even an ice cream cone wrapper once- anything actually that has an interesting design! I also cut up old watercolor paintings to use as the earring tag - so everything gets a second life!
