I fell in love with making my own books / journals in 2020. These aren't junk journals, but books with either hard or soft covers, interesting bindings and filled with lovely watercolor or sketching paper. Loads of blank pages ready for me to use. I've even had to put up a special book case/shelf to display all my various books! Every week Ali Manning shares 1 hour showing us how to make something. Once or twice a year, she hosts a 5 day book making event. That was what got me started.
As of 2023 I've started teaching a book making workshop each month at Propagate Studio, 2546 NJ-57, Stewartsville, NJ. $30.
